This is the first in a series of eBooks, downloadable in PDF format. The Guide to Federal and State Regulations for Accessible Housing in California is filled with flowcharts, definitions, and pertinent sections of federal and state regulations, for use in determining which standards apply to housing projects. At the project's outset, scoping to determine the applicable regulations provides a solid foundation to achieve access compliance.

The 2025 California Access Compliance Advisory Manual includes the 2025 Triennial Code Cycle Amendments with a publication date of July 1, 2025, and an effective date of January 1, 2026. Included in the 2025 CACAM are the California Building Code sections adopted by the Division of the State Architect.
