This is the first in a series of eBooks, downloadable in PDF format. The Guide to Federal and State Regulations for Accessible Housing in California is filled with flowcharts, definitions, and pertinent sections of federal and state regulations, for use in determining which standards apply to housing projects. At the project's outset, scoping to determine the applicable regulations provides a solid foundation to achieve access compliance.

The 2023 California Access Compliance Advisory Manual includes the 2022 Intervening Code Cycle Supplement with a publication date of January 1, 2024, and an effective date of July 1, 2024. Included in the 2023 CACAM are the California Building Code sections adopted by the Division of the State Architect.
